Teen Patti

The movie Teen Patti has been released on Feb 26, 2010. Produced by Ambika A Hinduja and directed by Leena Yadav, Teen Patti is a riveting story about a mathematics genius named Venkat who has discovered new theories about probability and randomness. He knows his new theories have the potential to change world of mathematics. But when Venkat is persuaded by Shantanu, played by R Madhavan, to try his new found principles in the world of gambling and the game of poker – Teen Patti, the greed takes over them which can no longer save them.

Teen Patti keeps you on the edge of your seats without giving you a time to think about anything else other than Teen Patti! The story revolves on the sets in London and India.

Ben Kingsley, of Gandhi fame, is playing the role of Perci who is a well known and a great mathematician himself. He understands that Venkat's theories about randomness and probability have the power to influence science. You would sure like to know what Perci does to end this whole story and this is what will pull you into the theaters to watch this great movie.

You are right, there are many movies that talk about greed and guilt, but none of them seem to be so original and so Indian. Teen Patti is about the modern India and the mathematics genius in India stresses the point that India has the intellect to affect the world and make it a better place. Its the greed that changes everything only to reveal the value of human life and the relationships built around it.

Teen Patti is a fast moving movie. It is a must see. The actors are legends by themselves and is a treat to watch Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley on the same screen.

Sab saale copy kar ke banate hain and they expect to make money out of such movies. This one was bound to be dud right from the start.

Is it not that Amitabh Bachchan is acting in too many movies? You cant get all of them successful!

Rudra it did not flop because of Amitabh's work. Amitabh has done his part but it is a cheap remake! The producers ought to know these days you gotta be original as the audience is not dumb anymore. The audience in India has matured but most of the directors are still with their masala mentality.
