Bored with Amitabh?

Amitabh Bachchan is an inspiration for many and yet despised by many who may think the directors and producers of Bollywood spend too much time on him than trying to encourage new talents in the industry. The movie scripts are written just with Amitabh in mind - as if no one else could play those roles!

 

Is Amitabh too good an actor that Bollywood and the movie audience cannot live without?

At the end of the day, what matters is what sells. Amitabh Bachchan's movies still pull audiences to the theaters and the producers in Bollywood like that. Amitabh is like a brand name by himself - brand that represents the height of talent. Even though he is old, never had a sculpted body, never could really dance but still managed to do magnificently well in the majority of his movies by his sheer skill of acting and voice quality.
