Love Sex Aur Dhoka
Love Sex Aur Dhoka or simply LSD, is the self descriptive title of the trend of the new Hindi movies are exploring these days in Bollywood. Gone are the days when just the holding of the hand by the lead actors while running around the trees in a park during a song sequence was considered sexy! A kiss in a Hindi movie used to be talked about for weeks. Obviously, beyond that the censor board used to try its best to prevent any explicit scenes from getting into the movie.
Is LSD a new trend that has been in the waiting for a long time in Bollywood and now is just getting a chance to come out? As what Bollywood is famous for, do not be surprised when one success of LSD would inspire many more directors and producers to make new Hindi movies based on the same theme!
Well, nudity in Hindi movies is not new. And you are right, it is not part of every Hindi movie also.
Raj Kapoor was one such director who somehow always managed to include the nude scenes in his movies like Mera Naam Joker, Ram Teri Ganga Maili and Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Before you start jumping in your seats, I do agree that the scenes Raj Kapoor shot depicted nudity but not sex. Even the ultra conservative Censor Board of India could never manage to get Raj Kapoor delete those scenes from his movies because the scenes used to be intricately tied to the story of the movie.
LSD however, seems to be trying to break new grounds here. Is it going to be good for the Indian culture or not only time would tell. In India what gets shown in the movies becomes a trend instead of being the other way around. Promiscuity is common amongst the youth in India, just like it is in the west. The fact that it is a hidden and often not talked about does not mean it is not there. The movies like LSD are going to make the sexual relationships come out in the open and people would start talking about being in such relationship outside of before marriage. The good part is, the youth would also know the pitfalls and the exploitation that might come along with it.
55th Filmfare Awards
Vidya Balan received the Filmfare Award for the Best Actor (Female) for her role in the movie “Paa”. The gorgeous Vidya Balan's acting has been widely acclaimed in this movie and was a hot favorite at the 55th Idea Filmfare Awards in Mumbai. 3 Idiots Awards
The Readers Choice Award for the Best film went to Rajkumar Hirani's “3 Idiots”. Another winner associated with “3 Idiots” was Suraj Jagan for composing “Give Me Some Sunshine”.

New Hindi Movies
Bollywood is where the most Hindi movies are made in India. Up to a few years ago, Mumbai was called Bombay and since Bombay is the Hollywood of India, where the majority of the new Hindi movies are produced, it came to be called as Bollywood. In the Indian society, sex is not discussed openly and therefore movies dealing with gays was totally out of question. Obviously, there are protests and demonstrations against the movies but all those end up creating even a bigger hype for the movies without having to spend money on advertising it!
A host of new directors have created new Hindi movies on a very small budget, using totally unknown actors and have still managed to do more business than compared to some of the Hindi movies produced by the well known 
and established production studios.
The story lines of Hindi movies have always been pretty predictable. A director always needed to add dance numbers, a fight or a rape scene even when the story did not require those scenes. That is why the majority of th new Hindi movies, and even those made in the other Indian languages, are called masala movies!
Bollywood produces hundreds of new Hindi movies every year using the same masala theme. The new directors have created some new Hindi movies these days that show promise and have drawn the attention of Hollywood. Now you can see Bollywood actors in Hollywood movies and vice versa. Indian music directors, like AR Rehman, have got Oscar and Grammy awards! The actors of the new Hindi movies have a Fan base that spreads globally now.
There have been ups an downs in the quality of the movies produced in India. The future of the new Hindi movies is bright and attractive!
